The Phase 3 land comprises some 30 acres which was not included in the Local Plan which was adopted in November 2017.

Warwickshire County Council, however, needed a site for a secondary school, having come to the conclusion that the land previously reserved was inadequate both in terms of size and location. We offered up in this land for that purpose, on the condition that consent would be granted for a further 150 dwellings.

Layouts were produced and consulted on including a rearrangement of parts of the Phase 1 land and Phase 2 open space. Following two public consultation events, an application was submitted with the approval of Warwickshire County Council as education authority, in July last year. The application was approved by the planning Committee in November 2019.
